Amazing Games, Everywhere

No Talent Required

Table-Topper version of No Talent Required

This version is for people to play at restaurants while their meals are being cooked.

NTR is an art game for artists and non-artists alike. Pick an object, any one will do: house, cat, rat, spaceship. Now, you and your fellow players must each draw that object one basic shape at a time. But now, the competitive and cooperative aspect of No Talent Required appears: players take turns naming the next shape for everyone to use.

Playable Anywhere

NTR can be played any place that has a flat surface. You just need paper, pencils and players!

Playable Anytime

We’ve played No Talent Required in a bar late at night with a few friends, we’ve played it in a restaurant waiting for food in the evening, and we’ve played it at a conference during the day. It was fun every time! As long as it’s bright enough to see, you can play whenever you like.

As an Event

“[My pick of the week] would have to be No Talent Required

Jim Babb, on the ARG Netcast

In the summer of 2010, we redesigned the game into a massively multiplayer mediated conference game, turning No Talent Required into a trading card stencil game. We ran this version of the game as part of the 2010 ARGFest Games Festival, which many attendees named as their favorite part of the convention.
